Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said in an interview with 95.7 The Game, “I think it was generally understood that he needed to work on some things. So, I think you look at it in that lens, it’s understandable that work would be away from the team.” Kerr revealed that Draymond has been distanced from his teammates to work and reflect on his on-court actions. However, Draymond has been working out and keeping himself in game shape because there is still no timeline as to when he will be called back to play.

Steve Kerr also said that what happened with Draymond over the last year has been very disappointing. Kerr has a lot of confidence in Draymond working on himself and returning as a better player.

The 9-time Champion revealed how Draymond has been doing amid all the drama, “He’s in good spirits. We’ve been texting, and he’s doing great. The league has to decide when they’re going to lift the suspension, and I don’t know when that will be.”

Can Draymond Green let go of his antics and help the Warriors win?

The Golden State Warriors are struggling to stay afloat this season. Stephen Curry is trying his best to get the Warriors into the playoff picture, but they are currently ranked 11th in the Western Conference. Steph is playing at an elite level, averaging 27.6 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. He has been the only shining light in the Warriors’ abysmal season. Stephen Curry and Co. need Draymond Green back in the line-up if they want to succeed this season. But they need Draymond Green without the drama surrounding him.

Draymond needs to understand that his controversial antics not only hurt his reputation but also hurt his teammates. He is one of the best defenders in the league, and his leadership and Championship experience can help guide the young players on the Warriors roster.
