The point guard added, “I just go and play basketball and have fun,??to display his focus for the upcoming season. The words came as a shocker for a few after Kentavious Caldwell-Pope’s recent remarks on the matchup.
The former Laker star talked about his team’s mindset ahead of his current franchise’s conference final series. “We had to give ?em that bu** whooping,” he mentioned, hinting at a potential beef in the West. With two stars of Denver voicing two different opinions, a possibility is now hard to rule out.

The Nuggets stopped the deep run of the squad from the City of Angels in the playoff last time around. The eventual NBA champions humiliated them in the conference final series. Murray and Kentavious both played key roles in that.
Jamal averaged 32.5 points per game in the series from a field goal percentage of an impressive 52.7%. He also made 6.3 rebounds per game alongside 5.3 assists per game. KCP, on the other hand, was the fourth-highest scorer in the series. He shot 48.9% from the field to average 14.8 points per game. They both made over 3 three-pointers per game on average to make life hell for the Lakers.

Thus, it’s safe to assume that the LA organization would be looking for revenge. As for the Nuggets, they are planning to go all the way once again with an eye for a dynasty. Certainly an interesting game to kick-start an exciting season.
