However, he had a significantly improved performance against the Rockets, recording 21 points and 12 rebounds. Despite Wembanyama dominating opposing players with his size and skills, Dillon Brooks wasn’t impressed.

In a post-match interview, Brooks said, “He’s tall, that’s really it.” Brooks is famous for getting under his opponent’s skin. But Victor totally dominated him and the other Houston defenders. His potential was on full display against the Rockets, leaving no doubt that Victor has the makings of a future NBA superstar.
