Team USA finally ends its quest for Gold with an empathic win over France. Led by Steph Curry’s 24-point outburst with only three-pointers, the Dream Team 2.0 stompingly settled the game in the final minutes, a true statement. Of course, LeBron James and Kevin Durant both had their fair share in the game, but it was the Splash Brother who turned on the jets. Just like the semi-finals, Curry was unstoppable from beyond the arc. His last three triples sealed the game, as the hoops community went berserk over his performance.
Trae Young, Dwyane Wade, and Dawn Staley were among the thousands that took to social media, admiring the ‘Chef’s kiss’. However, D-Wade’s summary of Steph’s gold-plated showcase couldn’t have been explained in a better way. “We didn’t just watch Steph get it, we watched him go get it”, he said. The sharpshooter quite literally had everyone in shock and Victor Wembanyama in tears, especially after his very last triple that he drained, under some scaringly serious pressure, over two defenders.
Trae Young’s excitement was expected after recently showing up on Paul George’s pod. “WE WITNESSING GREATNESS! Wow #30,” the Hawk wrote. Dawn Stanley was also thrilled after Steph Curry’s performance saying, “Chef MF @StephenCurry30″.

The Warrior literally took the team on his shoulders for the last two games of this tour. Carmelo Anthony and Jimmy Fallon enjoyed Steph’s magic from the stands, going haywire in emotions. And why not?
Stephen Curry not only sunk some of the best deep rangers for Team USA but also the Olympics! For Chef to dominate in such a way on his debut on this international stage, speaks volumes about his craft. Adding Gold to his already stacked resume, Steph has it all under his name now.
The France game performance was just icing on top, after his 36-point outburst in the semi-finals. In the last two games, Steph drained 17 triples! It is safe to say that Curry showed up when he was needed the most. The Chef was quiet at the start of this tournament and garnered quite a bit of attention for not contributing enough. Well, what better way to shut your critics than this? It seemed as if he was building up his momentum all this time. He showed up at the right time, leading the squad to ultimate glory.
Steph Curry puts Olympics final Splash “up there!”
Following the game, Stephen Curry, along with Anthony Edwards, went on to livestream on Instagram. ANT teased Steph for showing up three days ago (in the Semi-Finals). “My boy just got to Paris three days ago, but we so glad he got here,” the young gun said with a broad smile on his face. “I don’t know what to tell y’all all man. This is wild bro. Done a lot in the game. This right here, this is up there!” Curry said in an emotional monologue to the camera.
He was all smiles as Team USA got ready to receive their gold medal. Kevin Durant, who was also with Steph and ANT, hyped him up saying, “night night.” He truly delivered one of the greatest performances in Olympic basketball history and also his career.
At the end of the day, it was a much-needed gold for Steph Curry to complete his resume. The four-time champion has yet another golden accolade to add to his collection, along with all the MVP awards, scoring titles, records, and whatnot! Steve Kerr and Steph can both head back to the Bay with all smiles, bringing back the gold medal.
For those wondering, whether they’ll get to see a LeBron James x Stephen Curry again, he had handed the community a saddening answer after the Serbia game. “I came into this thinking it would be my one and only time to play in the Olympics and experience this stage,” the Splash Brother said, as he made his intentions clear about winning that Gold medal. And he rightfully did.
