Fresh off the second Gold medal in his hoops career, Devin Booker turned to his favorite people to celebrate the win. You would have gotten an idea of who I am talking about. But just to confirm – Davon Wade, his elder brother, and their beloved sister, Mya Powell. By now, all of us are well aware of Mya’s role in Book’s life. The 22-year-old, diagnosed with DiGeorge Syndrome, has been a constant source of motivation and inspiration. In fact, when he was named the Special Olympics Global Ambassador, the Phoenix Suns star dedicated the honor to his sister.

“I’ve celebrated the accomplishments and witnessed the challenges my sister Mya has experienced as a person with intellectual disabilities. She motivates me every day, and I’m humbled to be part of Special Olympics, a global organization with a mission to help spread awareness about the abilities of people with intellectual disabilities,” DBook said in a statement.

Since we have enough details about Mya, it’s only right we get a little into the life of Davon Wade. The eldest of the step-siblings, Wade, was born on February 17, 1993. Given that Booker is a globally known basketball player, there was only so much their mother, Veronica Gutierrez, a cosmetologist, could do to keep his life private. However, she did a great job of shielding her other children from the eyes of the public. And as such, we don’t have much information about Davon’s father. Or, for that matter, Mya’s.

Considering the bond between the three, there has never really been a need to poke into the details, either. The trio might not be direct siblings, but the close relationship between them will make you wonder if there’s even a need for that. The below picture, tweeted by a Devin Booker fan page, is a perfect example. “Devin Booker with Davon and Maya after winning gold, (His brother and sister),” followed by happy tears and a heart emoji.

Devin Booker’s brother, Davon Wade: What’s his profession?

A real estate agent by profession, the 31-year-old is also interested in sports. But not enough to keep at it like his younger brother. However, Wade seems to be doing quite well in his chosen career. A quick scroll through his Instagram shows that Davon is enjoying the finer things in life. He graduated from Western Michigan with expertise in Business Administration. Per his Retsy profile, “The driving force when pursuing his degree was the lack of customer satisfaction and poor treatment by large business administrations.”

When Devin Booker was drafted by the Suns in 2015, Davon Wade joined him in Phoenix, Arizona. Since then, Wade has made Arizona so very different from the Midwest he grew up in, his home. Having set up his business in the Phoenix community, Wade’s time is split between working, supporting his brother, and socializing. He’s often seen at the Suns games. Before the Olympics, Davon had posted a picture of the two of them together resting on a basketball court after a practice session!

Of course, the two often spend some bro time together.

There’s no mention of a relationship or a fiance so far. Neither are there any telltale signs of such on his social media platforms. Then again, aside from Book, the rest of his family largely keep their affairs out of the public eye. So, if something of such a nature does happen, we will probably know of it after the deed is done. Until then, trust us to keep a close eye on Booker’s siblings.
