Stephan Curry has been one of the most successful basketball players on and off the court. With success comes attention from media on playing and personal life and Steph is married to celebrity chef Ayesha Curry. Ayesha Curry is a multifaceted woman. She is a famous chef, TV personality, author of several cookbooks, and an entrepreneur. Together, they have three kids; Riley (11), Ryan (8), and Canon (5). And, having superstar parents follows with immense attention and limelight on the children.

But, Ayesha and Steph have found a middle ground to protect their kids from constant media glare and have a normal childhood for their kids.

Curry’s Kids Denied Access to Social Media

Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry make a powerful couple, both enjoying successful careers in their respective fields. But there are always two sides to a coin. While the Curry’s enjoy all the benefits of being famous. They also have to deal with negative aspects of fame such as lack of privacy and being under constant spotlight. Sadly, this also applies to their kids too, because they will be under the constant glare of the media, looking for a breaking story. The Curry’s have restricted their children’s access to social media as a protective measure.

In a recent interview with Insider, Ayesha opened up about raising her kids in a pressurized and unsafe environment. She said, “I think we’ve settled on doing an Apple Watch. Cause apparently with the Apple Watch, you can still make calls. I’m trying to be as normal as possible, but every day we wake up and there’s a new school shooting, a new attack”. But, despite Steph and Ayesha not allowing their kids access to social media, their first-born Riley (11) may be on Instagram.

It appears that Riley might have capitalized on her parents’ limited knowledge about electronics. Amidst this chaos, the Curry couple is finding it hard to create a strict balance with the Internet access of their kids.

Steph and Ayesha met as teenagers and tied the knot in 2011. Ayesha has been a constant pillar of support in Steph’s illustrious career and Steph has supported Ayesha in her professional endeavors. Together, they have three children; Riley (11), Ryan (8) and Canon (5) and the safety of kids is their utmost priority.

Finding the right balance between protecting their kids but also allowing them enough freedom to grow can sometimes be a tricky subject. In an interview with Insider, she revealed, “Where’s the middle ground, where we’re strict, but we’re also allowing our kids to experience life? We’re trying to figure out what that balance is. Just kind of learn as you go, right?”
