Nikola Jokic and his boys put an end to the Golden State Warrior’s four-game win streak in Oracle Arena today. The Joker put off a monster triple-double with 32 points, 16 rebounds, 16 assists, four steals and a block. Even though both Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson scored 43 points, taking down the defending NBA champions proved tough for Dubs.
Despite taking a beating from the reigning Finals MVP, Draymond Green seems eager to chop it up with him in his podcast. At least that is what the former Defensive Player of the Year is eluding to the latest episode of the ‘Draymond Green Show’.

Jokic has been notorious among fans for not making any major podcast appearances. During the All-Star Break, Warriors legend Andre Iguodala confronted him for being a part of AGS, but that didn’t come to fruition, so Green made another attempt. “I went up to him and said, ‘Hey, can you do my podcast?'” said Green.
Later the four-time NBA champion went on to shed light on Jokic passing up Iggy’s podcast. “I don’t know if any of y’all saw the clip of Joker at Allstar with Andre Iguodala asking about the podcast and Joker’s running from him, so I was kind of making light of that, and he said, ‘Oh my God BR, I’m a bad person,'” clarified Green.

In the end, he mentioned, “You’ve never seen Joker on the podcast, I haven’t, maybe y’all have. I haven’t seen it, and if it did, it was probably about horses. It was not about the Denver Nuggets or no basketball game.” It would be interesting to witness Draymond and Jokic in the podcast. Both of them have battled each other for years in the Western Conference and both of their teams have won.
This season, the Nuggets are the 4th seed, and the Warriors are the 10th. While Denver would try their best to recapture their glory from last year, the Dubs will have to manage to hold on longer to get out of the play-in spot. However, given their current position, it’s difficult to say whether they will be able to secure a place among the first six. Even if they are in the play-in, two elimination games will decide their fate. Is it a long shot?
