Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is the new face of Michael Jordan and his billion dollar brand. Ever since the Slovenian signed a multi million dollar deal with ‘Air Jordan’, fans have been eagerly waiting for his signature shoes. Safe to say, he has treated his fans well with the release of two signature sneakers which have done really well in the market. Not only shoes, but Doncic has also developed his alter ego during this time.

Recently, the Mavs star reposted a video of a 22-year-old actor who gave his thoughts on a very innovative advertisement which features Doncic and his alter-ego.

AI is here and it is ready to take over the world. It made major inroads in the NBA world last year during September. Doncic debuted his second signature shoe during one of his games which caught the attention of NBA fans.

With fans busy speculating about the sneaker, the 4-time NBA All-Star dropped a major surprise for his millions of fans across social media platforms.

He debuted his own alter-ego developed with the help of AI. Named Luk.AI, it is a carbon copy of the 2019 Rookie of the Year. Recently, a commercial in which Doncic plays against his own AI went viral across social media platforms.

Doncic shared a reel on his Instagram story of 22-year-old actor, Joshua Cureton, who goes by the name of juztjosh on Instagram and TikTok. He has around 400k followers on Instagram compared to Luka Magic’s 8 million followers! However, his thoughts on the Luka vs Luka matchup managed to catch the eye of the Slovenian wonderkid.

Michael Jordan and Doncic have also launched a shoe for his AI

Luka Doncic in collaboration with Jumpman released the Jordan Luka 2 in five colorways in June, 2023. The shoe was nicknamed “Luk. AI” and is available for $100 in Nike stores around the world.

Doncic stepped into the world of Artificial Intelligence on 22nd September, 2022. “I thought it would be fun to turn myself into an AI and invite my fans to help me train him,” said the 4-time All-NBA as per dallasnews.

Doncic’s alter-ego was developed with the help of Epic’s Unreal Engine 5 MetaHuman framework. Like other AI models around the world, Luk. AI learns and improves itself based on fan interactions.
