It’s no secret that Green and James share a close relationship. The two NBA superstars have faced each other in the NBA Finals four times.
James had the last laugh in 2016 when he won the NBA title with the Cleveland Cavaliers; but the Golden State Warriors and Green have beaten King James on the other three occasions.
Keeping all those aside, the two NBA veterans are close friends and their recent antics further solidify this claim. Viral fan videos have captured Green and James at Brent Faiyaz’s concert in Toronto.

The 27-year-old singer is an up-and-coming R&B superstar from Canada. The 1st August show in Toronto, Ontario is a part of the singer’s ‘F*ck The World It’s A Wasteland’ Tour.
It is a joint tour of Faiyaz’s last two studio albums titled ‘F*ck The World’ and ‘Wasteland’. He previously performed in Washington, Denver and Chicago. James and Green decided to show up for the fourth show in the popular R&B singer’s tour lineup.
James and Green could have played together
Draymond Green’s contract extension was one of the major talking points during the NBA Free Agency. There were huge rumors which suggested that the four-time NBA champion was on his way to the Los Angeles Lakers to play alongside LeBron James.

Although it looked like Green would leave the Golden State Warriors, he ultimately decided to sign a 4-year, $100 million contract. Incidentally, his extension came days after the Warriors traded Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards. Prior to the 2022-23 NBA season, Green had punched Poole, and this invited a lot of criticism for the former Defensive Player of the Year.
