Amid all this, his Miami Heat partner and close friend LeBron James could not make it to the 3-time champion’s big night.

In an emotional moment during his Hall of Fame speech, Wade called his father to share the stage with him and appreciated his love and support throughout his life. “We in the Hall of Fame, dawg,” Wade added as he hugged his father, and the audience stood up to applaud the Miami Heat legend.

Wade’s pal and ex-playmate LeBron James was not present in the auditorium, but that didn’t stop the Akron Hammer to comment on the son-father’s stage moment, “So Fire”.
