LeBron James has it all. Yet, the King has a hard time taking a moment for himself. One of the noteworthy achievements in LeBron’s life is the lifetime contract with Nike. That just rounded his net worth to $1 billion.

The four-time NBA champion hoped to get a fifth ring last season, but the Denver Nuggets rained on that parade. Now with another chance coming very soon, James is looking to get the “nugget” back from Denver. Until then, he is very busy with a truckload of responsibilities. They range from father, entrepreneur, husband, and ambassador.

LeBron has an extremely organized schedule. The man needs it if he is going to get all his tasks done right. LeBron’s ex-Laker teammate, Danny Green provides a clear idea of what it means to be King James. “His day is so structured, I don’t think he can take a sh*t in peace,” he says to Theo Pinson and AJ Richardson on ‘Run Your Race’.

With a basketball career spanning 20 years, the 3x NBA champion says that it doesn’t seem like it is James’ 20th year.

“Dunking the ball, running around, jumping like he still has you know, 35 minutes … I’m like, you’re gonna run out of jumps at some point … he’s jumping like he’s not gonna ever run out.”

LeBron’s passion for the game makes it nearly impossible to tell if he’s in his 2nd year in the league or his 21st.

Danny Green does not believe in LeBron James’ retirement rumours

The Philadelphia 76ers forward Green is someone who knows LeBron James well. There’s a lot of speculation surrounding The King’s retirement, including how he wants to go off with a bang in the Paris Olympics. The bang, because it might be his last dance.

Conversely, Danny Green has a different opinion. In his talk with Harrison Stanford on ‘Danny Green x Inside the Green Room’, he provides a different angle to the whole retirement talk. He mentions how LeBron is a “very calculated man ... One way to look at it is that he wanted to take the tension off of him and his team being swept … I don’t think he’s trying to make it about him nor I don’t think he was trying to take away the attention from Denver.” Another angle would be how he wants to play with his son, Bronny. According to Green, the only way he can do that is if he takes a year off.

Surprisingly, Green isn’t the first to come up with this angle.
