NBA athletes like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and others are some of the most recognizable faces in the world. Naturally, they draw a huge salary from their teams, which makes them some of the highest-earning sportspersons in the world. In fact, James and Curry have been some of the highest-earning players over the past few years. Out of all the big names who dominate the salary list, the Golden State Warriors superstar has been a consistent name.
The Baby Faced Assassin has been the highest earner over the past 5 years. However, this isn’t enough to take him above his rivals when it comes to career earnings.

Steph Curry and King James have dominated the game over the past decade. Not only the game, but the two superstars have also dominated off-court battles like salaries and endorsements.
Currently, 2022 Finals MVP Curry is the highest earner in the league. He will earn $51 million in salaries alone during the 2023-24 NBA season. This isn’t anything new for Curry.
The four-time NBA champion has dominated NBA salaries for quite some time now. In fact, the NBA’s record three-point shooter is the league’s highest-earning player over the past 5 years with $212,031,769 in his bank.
This amount takes him above the likes of James and Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George, who have earned $197,966,106 and $178,791,289, respectively.
Despite his dominance in the past, it seems like the future belongs to James and Curry’s former teammate, Kevin Durant. Per Spotrac, the aforementioned superstar will eclipse the Warriors legend when it comes to career earnings.
According to the report, James will have a whopping $530,882,395 in his bank, while Durant will have earned $499,843,653 through the 2028-29 NBA season. Stephen Curry takes the third spot on this list with $470,090,010 in career earnings. However, this list could drastically change with a mega contract in the future.
Curry is on his way to joining James on an elite list
Currently, there are only two names associated with the NBA who have breached the billion mark; they are LeBron James and Michael Jordan. By the looks of things, Steph Curry is the next name to join this list.
