The Golden State Warriors faced the Chicago Bulls tonight, in a neck-to-neck fight at pivotal moments. The situation even continued till the final minute, with the Warriors holding a slight lead at 119-118. With just 26 seconds remaining on the clock, Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan pulled off a miracle by shooting a key jumper and taking his team in the lead. The game concluded soon after that with the Bulls winning by a score of 125-122.

During the post-game press conference, the Warriors’ HC Steve Kerr discussed DeRozan’s eye-catching move. He praised the player by calling him one of the “great closers in the game” for over a decade. “It’s a great experience for all of our young guys, JK and BP” said Kerr. “It’s good for them to feel this, Moses too, to feel these big situations”.

Steve Kerr stated that while they may have lost this round against the Bulls, he had no complaints about the effort and execution put forward by the Warriors. For one thing, the Bulls certainly had the advantage on their side after Stephen Curry had to opt out of the game during the last 4 minutes after twisting his ankle. But no one, not even Kerr, could have seen the 34-year-old shooting guard rise to the occasion in such a spectacular manner.

Moses Moody believes that DeMar DeRozan “baits you into things”

The Golden State Warriors coach wasn’t the only one who used the post-game presser to talk about DeMar DeRozan’s last-minute move. Shooting guard Moses Moody, who scored 10 points and 9 rebounds, also shared his thoughts on the same. When asked if the player should share his thoughts on what occurred during the 2 and 3 quarter, Moddy stated that the game started to change “when DeMar started getting to the free throw line”.

“The game plan was to keep him off the line, and once we got on discipline, he started game changing,” said Moody.

The 21-year-old also touched base on the game changing move by his rival at the last leg.

“His game is pretty deceptive. He baits you into things, and he’s drawing fouls. Like on that last one, he hit that turnaround” Moody added. “I promise I could have blocked it, but I didn’t want to get the foul”.
