Times are sensitive in the NBA right now. In a matter of a few hours, the entire landscape could potentially shift. We are on the very last day of the trade deadline. Only a few people have the privilege of not worrying during this period. In the past, several blockbuster moves have taken place. In recent times, Kevin Durant moving to the Suns has now placed the organization in the footsteps of competing for the NBA title. Another name that has often been the center of such conversation is DeMar DeRozan.
Currently playing for the Chicago Bulls, the seasoned veteran has always attracted interest from various franchises. He is a lethal scorer who can easily assist a contending team and rapidly increase their odds of winning. Having been in the league for a long time and still producing some astonishing performances, Deebo is a hot target.
However, at least from his side, the Bulls have nothing to worry about.

DeMar DeRozan is here to stay
Warming up to face the Memphis Grizzlies, DeRozan was hoarded by the reporters. The much-anticipated trade deadline has stirred major rumors as always. With DeRozan being at a stage where competing would be most players’ priority, the media wanted to know his status. Given his arsenal and the impact he is capable of making, he can easily find a suitor. Additionally, with all the power players have in these matters in the modern era, it won’t be hard to force a move.
In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers have shown a strong desire over the past few seasons to make a trade for Deebo. During the entire Russell Westbrook saga, the mid-range demon constantly came up in talks about moving to LA. The Lakers are in a similar situation this year with trying to find the appropriate destination for D’Angelo Russell.
However, DeMar DeRozan is a believer rather than a mover.

“I always feel like there’s a way. You can figure out a way,” he told the crowd of reporters. “I’m willing to figure it out any way possible. That’s just the competitor in me. I never try to run or complain or excuse my language or b***h when things get hard you know,” said DeRozan.
A 34-year-old DeRozan is still hooping at an elite level for the dysfunctional Bulls. He is averaging 22.3 points this season, the most on the roster. He controls the game at his own pace and has the innate ability to get to his spots. Due to his unparalleled midrange game, DeRozan is still one of the best closers in the league. He can be a solid number two for any championship core. His experience and wisdom can have a profound impact on a legitimate contender.
