Over the last few weeks, De’Aaron Fox has managed to emerge in every possible trade rumor. In that sense, the one major family problem that he might face would be uncertainty. Well, it’s always an anxious feeling to pack your bags without knowing the destination. Fox had picked San Antonio as his desired destination, though, as per league sources. While we come to that later, the Sacramento Kings’ guard had a fresh family problem tonight.

The Kings faced the thriving OKC Thunder on the fifth of their 6-game road trip. The top-seeding West Conference side returned to the court fresh off their loss against the Warriors. Stepping on the floor with rage, the Thunder decimated the Sac Town for a blowout 144-110 victory. Fox, who spearheaded the Kings’ offense, dropped 20 points along with the competitive effort from the starting line.

Meanwhile, De’Aaron Fox didn’t get any special support from the bench, as they looked almost non-existent contributing only 24 points. However, at the same time, the star guard received compassionate backing from the crowd. Well, it could have been special but it didn’t. The star’s wife, Recee Fox, found a spot in the third row from the courtside seats, seated along with her newborn. This is where the Fox family had the fresh trouble. She took to her IG stories and shared a video of her baby fast asleep while her husband checked into the court.

The video also carried a subtle comment on the baby, as Recee added“Something couldn’t hang.” Notably, the couple gave birth to their second child last year during the off-season. On August 2023, De’Aaron Fox shared the picture of the newborn on his IG and wrote, “My California Golden Poppy.” Moreover. Recee may have revealed her family’s cute little problem, but she eased the Sacramento fans’ worries two days ago. Let’s find out more about it.

Recee dropped clarity on De’Aaron Fox’s trade rumors

De’Aaron Fox has one more season left in his 5-year $163 million contract. Ideally, the star should have signed an extension with the team by now. Moreover, several league sources stated that Fox has asked for a trade out and revealed San Antonio Spurs as his preferred destination.

Above all, The Athletic reported that more than half the franchises have inquired about the star as per their league sources. While it’s an anxious moment for the fans who expected the 7-year guard to remain the face of the team, Recee dropped a promising update in the now-deleted tweet. She wrote, “Still has never asked for a trade btw…especially while being in the midst of a good run. That should clear.”

However, at the same time, Fox delivered a concerning statement via a reporter, Chris Biderman. “In this league, I expect the unexpected… I think crazier things have happened. For sure, I think everybody has a preferred destination, I think everybody has a preferred destination if they’re not in the place that — or if they’re not going to be in the place where they are in the moment,” said Fox amid the strong rumors. What do you think? Will Fox continue with the Kings? Let us know in the comments.
