The Golden State Warriors underwent a regime change this offseason following general manager Bob Myers’ unceremonious exit. The front office brought Mike Dunleavy Jr. as a quick replacement. The new executive made some drastic moves right off the bat. But now, another addition is happening in the Stephen Curry’s camp gearing up for the upcoming season.

It was a hard pill to swallow for many to see Bob Myers leave. The former franchise member is being credited for grooming the likes of Stephen Curry and other Dub Nation’s stars. The Warriors are now planning to bring another familiar face to the front office.

Even though the Warriors replaced Myers with Mike Dunleavy Jr. the front office will see the addition of Chuck Hayes. According to HoopsHype writer Mike Sotto, “The Golden State Warriors plan to hire Chuck Hayes for a front office position with the team, league sources told @hoopshype.”

Chuck Hayes is a former NBA player who played in the league for 11 seasons. His most formidable years could be considered as his time with the Houston Rockets. Hayes played the role of a backup center to the Rockets legend, Yao Ming.
