Lillard shocked the hoop community with his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks. While there were rumors of a trade, no one thought the 33-year-old could land up at Milwaukee. The front runners in Lillard’s trade were the Miami Heat, that too for a very long time. However, the Bucks came in as a surprise and shook things up.

Following the big trade news, fans were shocked yet again by Lillard filing for divorce. The couple is reporting ending their 13-year-long relationship.

Recently, one of his Bucks teammates, on condition of anonymity, spilled details on Lillard’s conversation about his marriage. As per The US Sun, the 33-year-old revealed some heartbreaking details of his “tough” marriage in front of his new teammates. Lillard revealed that the last few months “were tough and not easy to deal with”. Trying to adapt to his new environment outside of the Bucks, Lillard confessed to his teammates that he expects them to understand the intensity of the situation. He also said that the decision to part ways was particularly difficult because of their kids.

The couple has 3 kids together and amidst the divorce saga, Lillard fears that their separation may have a wrong impact on their kids.
