Boston Celtics offered one of the biggest contracts in the NBA to their star forward Jaylen Brown. They offered him a five-year, $304m super-max contract extension, which would be the most valuable deal in NBA history. Due to this high basketball IQ and tenacity on the court, Brown drew a lot of attention quickly. Not only praises but the player faced a lot of criticism for his intelligence. But Brown remained focused and dedicated to improving his craft, silencing doubters with every game.
Brown’s dedication paid off in 2021 when he was chosen as an NBA All-Star for the first time, confirming his place among the league’s best players. Japan is very popular for the sport of drifting as a rider named Kunimitsu Takahashi popularized it. So when fans saw the video of Brown drifting, they were shocked as to what the player was up to and expressed their feelings.
One fan was so upset with Brown that he sarcastically wrote, “Yeah, this looks to be a lot more important than learning to dribble to his left.”

A frustrated fan even pointed out that, “Haven?t seen a single left-handed dribble training video and we are less than 90 days from the season starting.”
With Brown potentially pursuing his new hobby, fans want him to get into the gym and start practicing. But some things they do not understand is that Brown has proved himself every time how valuable of an asset he is to his team. After all, he is not a 2x NBA All-Star for no reason.
