In the upcoming season, the 33-year-old James Harden steps into his 15th season in the NBA world. Even though the star has secured several accolades under his name, he is still chasing a ring. In the pursuit of winning a ring, he has jumped up to four teams, and he is currently looking for a new home in the Clippers. Notably, NBA legend Charles Barkley even advised the Sixers to let go off the star. However, amid this drama, he recently opened up about his retirement plans.
In an interview with USA Today Sports, Harden discussed an array of topics, including his retirement. The host made the Beard reflect on his 15-year-long journey when she asked him about his lessons learned in the league. He expressed that he had achieved a lot so far and would like to do more in the coming years: “I’ll continue to work hard and continue to do the things and put the work in until I can’t play basketball anymore.”
Harden said that he would venture into his wine business and other engagements after his retirement and thrive on them.
The star clearly seemed unbothered by the chaos in the Sixers dug out. While there is a little clarity on Harden’s exit, Embiid still seems mysterious.

Embiid shocks Sixers fans
Days after Harden’s trade exit rumors surfaced the internet, Joel Embiid dropped bomb on the Sixers fans with his cryptic tweet. The tweet read, “I just want to win a championship. Whatever it takes… Whether it’s in Philly or anywhere else. I just want to have a chance.”
There is still no clarity on the tweet. Notably, few days before the tweet, the duo were seen partying at fourth of July all-white party as well.
