Did Stephen Curry's Bowser costume steal the Halloween spotlight from his adorable Super Mario family?

The Halloween Season is upon us and the NBA stars are bringing their A-game to the fore. After Victor Wembanyama took the crown for the best Halloween cosplay, it was time for Stephen Curry to step up and he summoned his family for the boost. But what’s Halloween without some classic villainy?

Stephen Curry ensured that the tradition was maintained, and he had just the right cosplay for it. While his 4 kids and wife cosplayed as various characters of Super Mario, Curry suited up as mean Bowser. Daughter Riley stood out as she cosplayed a gamer playing the game, sitting away from the rest of the family. Ryan was rocking her Princess Peace makeover as Canon wore a mustache in his Mario outfit. Steph posted the adorable picture on his IG, spreading the spooky vibes among his legion of fans.

But there were more Halloween surprises from Curry. In his IG stories, he uploaded a series of pictures from a party. Sticking to the theme of it, Steph dressed up as a pirate in a black coat and white shirt with a matching hat. Ayesha also donned a similar attire resembling the Spanish actress Penelope Cruz from Pirates of the Caribbean. Ayesha also shared a montage on her IG with the caption, “Date night with my golden state wARRRRRior,” displaying some more moments from the party. Draymond Green and his wife Hazel Renee were also in one of the pictures, signaling a fun night for the Warriors duo.

This was not the first time Curry chose a pirate outfit. In 2021, he had a similar attire to Ayesha. Previously, Curry stole the spotlight with his Jigsaw cosplay from the horror movie franchise Saw. Looking at the pictures Curry shared with his loved ones, one might argue it’s a complete family. But this time next year, you might even see an addition to the household.

Stephen Curry teased a plan for Curry Jr. No. 5

After welcoming their fourth child together, Stephen Curry and Ayesha felt everything was balanced. But following his success at the Paris Olympics, the guard hinted at Curry Jr. No. 5. During a recent episode of the TODAY show, Curry broke the silence over his family plans. “We will see what happens,” the 36-year-old said upon being enquired. He also added, “We feel complete. And like you said Ayesha, she got to bring the two boys over to Paris to watch the final couple of games. So great experience ahead for sure.”

Have an interesting take?

Over the years, Stephen Curry has carried out his duty as a family man to the fullest despite his busy NBA schedule. The Curry family had a hard time during their recent Paris tour, but that’s all behind now. Even during the offseason, Curry was seen visiting Oracle Park to attend the MLB game between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees. His son, Canon, stole the spotlight with his dance moves and Ryan was given a lesson by Papa Curry on how to interact with confidence.

Now on the sidelines due to his injury, Curry had some extra time on Halloween to celebrate with his family. But the Bay Area’s favorite son is on a mission to lead the Warriors to the promised land and once he returns to fitness, that should be a scary season for the opponents without a doubt.
