The only common thing between both teams is that the head coaches have found themselves in the firing line. Moreover, the Lakers’ Thursday night game against Kevin Durant and his men further induced the fans’ wrath on social media.

Steve Kerr has been facing major flak even from the Dub Nation. The 9x NBA Champion has been constantly criticized for his player rotation policy. The LA side entered the game with a shorthanded side. Two major players of the backup team, Christian Wood and Rui Hachimura were ruled out of the game, due to injuries. It impacted the depth of the side.

On top of it, King James had a quiet night, struggling with his FG percentage. He shot at 36%, draining only 4 out of his 11 attempts. On top of it, he missed his four three-point attempts.

Anthony Davis, who lit up the last game with 41 points, managed only 13 points with a 6-11 FG.
