The Milwaukee Bucks were up against the Charlotte Hornets tonight. With 130-99, the Hornets trailed behind by a significant leap. And it was surprising for everyone to witness Damian Lillard get back from a rough start to dominate the game tonight.
1. Outshining Damian Lillard is not enough for LaMelo Ball
Since Terry Rozier is down with an injury scare, the shorthanded Charlotte Hornets were not difficult to defeat tonight. Although LaMelo put up his A game, the back-to-back driving layups still couldn’t match the points thrown in by Lillard. Paring up with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lillard embraced his role as a lead point guard, amassing 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Although the center is about to hit its late thirties next year, it still stands high on the block leader list. Brook Lopez is not only the architect of space for the Bucks, but his ability to handle both ends of the court makes him an elite player. With six blocks, 15 points, and seven rebounds, ‘Splash Mountain’ is here to stay.
3. Malik Beasley shines yet again.
Although the shooting guard was considered a potential player to make a significant impact in the second unit, his presence alongside Damian Lillard in the starting lineup is offering significant results. The brilliant backcourt starter might be making the Lakers regret their decision.

Apart from this, a notable mention of Miles Bridges is a must. Returning after 586 days, the small forward of the Hornets didn’t seem rusty at all. Although he missed out on the preseason and a lot of practice sessions, the 25-year-old scored 25 points while coming off the bench.
Stay tuned as the story develops.
