The stars were out in Dallas on Tuesday as the Wolves won their first game of the series and avoided the sweep. Gracing the American Airlines Center with their presence, several Cowboys players came out hoping to see Doncic and Co. win. But despite Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs, and Osa Odighizuwa cheering the Mavs on, the Wolves won the thrilling encounter 105-100. Predicting a similar outcome, if they win again tomorrow, vet Stephen A. Smith warned Dallas to not make the same mistake at their next home game.

Diving into Dallas’ unfortunate loss on The Stephen A. Smith Show, the media vet feared that if Ant-Man’s team managed to sneak one more win, then there would be a lot of pressure on the Mavs for Game 6. About that pressure, Smith had advice, “My advice to the Dallas Mavericks and their fans everywhere, make sure no Dallas Cowboy is in the building. It’s gonna bring you nothing but bad luck.”

To back his point, Smith claimed that the Cowboys flexing from the sidelines will only contaminate the Mavs’ efforts and come in the way of their success. So, he believes it might be better for the Mavs to keep the Cowboys away. Not having won a Super Bowl in nearly three decades, the Cowboys have not had much luck on the football field. And a few days ago, Stephen A. even slammed the franchise for their awful off-season decisions, “Jerry Jones, my buddy, has done a horrible job this offseason.”

From losing stars like Tony Pollard and Tyron Smith to not signing Derrick Henry, the Cowboys are looking worse going into next season. And Smith probably didn’t want that bad luck to rub off on the Mavs as they were on the verge of conquering the West.

Anthony Edwards has a promise to keep for Micah Parsons

Wearing Luka Doncic’s #77 jersey for Game 4, Micah Parsons made it clear that his allegiance lies with the home team. However, there was something very off in his outfit as the Cowboys star dawned Anthony Edwards’ latest AE1 sneakers. And like every other fan in the arena, even Ant-Man noticed the mismatch. After the game, Edwards revealed he had made a special promise to Micah because of his controversial sneaker choice, “Micah Parsons was rockin’ the AE1 and I told him he wear a size 14 I’d bring him back some nice shoes for game 6.”

Didn’t get it? It was his unique way of hinting that the Wolves were going to win the next game and return to Dallas for Game 6. This is not the first time in these playoffs Anthony Edwards has made such a promise. In the previous series, he reportedly told a Nuggets staff member that he would be back for Game 7. Surprisingly, Ant-Man kept his word and forced the series to seven games. So, there is a possibility he’ll keep his word while engineering a shocker of a comeback against Luka Doncic and Co.
