Denver Nuggets veteran Reggie Jackson just managed to get LeBron James a major dip in fan following. The 33-year-old guard got James good in the second quarter of the Lakers vs. Nuggets opening night game. With the Nuggets already leading the game, the Lakers fans are shouting to see blood spill.

There was a minor blood spill, alright. But to the dismay of the Lakers, it was LeBron with a nosebleed, trying to guard the 6’2 Jackson. To the credit of Mr. Colorado Basketball, Reggie was not even slightly intimidated to see the 4x NBA champion standing right in front of him. Let’s take a look at the unfortunate video (for the Lakers).

Everybody makes mistakes, yeah? Even King James. But his fans are not of the same opinion. And maybe today’s guarding of Jackson wasn’t exactly one of his best defenses. Why don’t we take a closer look at what happened to the 4x champion?

Not only did LeBron James fail to guard the man, but he took one to the nose and Reggie got a shot straight to the hoop. Another fan (maybe?), had some very strong comments on the King’s performance. You might find yourself confused about this guy’s stance. Don’t say we did not warn you.

Another user just put it out there simple and straight. “Damn … boy gettin soft smh.”

Yet another one managed to get a stunning drawing of Bron’s “moment”.

Almost reminded of how Kung Fu Panda, Po gets the pig artist to paint a portrait while getting punched in the face. While another user seems to break down the picture, “Reggie “makes” LeBron fall … he almost sprains his ankle stepping on LeBron’s foot.”

Either way, this is not going to be forgotten easily by anyone. The game in itself was a spectacular event. The Lakers seem to bring in new surprises after a few turns only to be blocked by the Nuggets stars. Here is a closer look into today’s game.

The Lakers vs. Nuggets player highlights

The opening night saw Denver with a 119-107 win over Los Angeles today. The Lakers had their moments, but the Nuggets just happened to be better. It is as simple as that. The big man, Jokic, finished the game with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists. It is also his 106th triple-double of his career.

Coincidentally, he is just one point behind LeBron and Kidd, who share a 4th place with 117 triple-doubles. Another proof that the Joker needs to be taken seriously if the Lakers are going to make headway. Pretty much all Nuggets players scored in double figures, with Murray and Caldwell-Pope scoring 21 and 20, respectively.

The Lakers too had their highs today. LeBron James got 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, while Davis scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Their latest forward, Taurean Prince also made an impact with 18 points, while Reaves got 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the team.

Clearly, the LA team came into the court with a game plan, but the Nuggets were simply too good for them. This will be a gloomy day for the Lakers fans, but it’s the NBA. Anything can happen.
