The Lakers avoided a last-moment defeat against the Houston Rockets. The win was orchestrated by none other than the legendary LeBron James with his game-winning free-throw in the final seconds of the game. The score stands 105-104 in favor of the Lakers. It is noteworthy how Bron is carrying the hopes of the Lakers, even at the tail end of his career. The Lakers seem to be a different team with him on the court.
Bron’s teammates are all praise for him. In the post-match media conference, Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura opened up. Reaves made everyone laugh at his hilarious comment on LeBron. What did he say?
“I remind him every day that he’s old”

Indeed, both LeBron and Tom Brady are legends and absolute game-changers in their respective fields. They proved yet again, that age is not a determining factor on how you perform. The legendary NFL quarterback, on the other hand, played for 23 seasons in the physically draining NFL with no signs of ageing. The comparison, hence, stands valid and I bet everyone of us had this strike our heads, much before Reaves said it. The biggest example-setters in the sporting world!

LeBron fighting father time to be the best player for Lakers
The King scored 37 points, with 8 assist, and 6 rebounds, after playing for 40 minutes. Fighting father time? Undoubtedly, yes. This is his 21st season, and it does not seem like, if you are not acquainted with this fact. The Lakers are playing differently with him on court. It provides a striking balance to the team, to have superstars like him and AD, with talented young players like Reaves and Hachimura.
If the Lakers are eyeing to clinch their 18th NBA title, it is important for them to use LeBron wisely. Others might have great talents, but it is Bron, who is still the deciding factor. Hopefully he continues this form of his in the upcoming matches as well.
