Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving is one of the most controversial NBA stars in recent times. 8x NBA All-Star has made numerous controversial statements and the league even suspended him for his anti-semantic tweets. Despite all this noise, he continued to prove his talent on the court. However, that isn’t enough for a veteran NBA analyst who recently called out the star on his recent show. Additionally, he also compared the NBA Champion with the Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman.
It’s safe to say that Rodman also had a controversial NBA career. Even though the 5x NBA Champion emerged as one of the best defenders in the 90s, he often got involved on-court altercation. Importantly, both Uncle Drew and The Worm had a controversial career, but a Fox Sports’ veteran analyst ranks Irving as the most controversial.

In the recent episode of The Odd Couple featuring veteran NBA analysts Chris Broussard and Rob Parker, the duo discussed Kyrie Irving‘s future with the Mavs. The 59-year-old Parker quickly said, “I don’t know, Kyrie, I think is on the edge.” Following that statement, Broussard interrupted to know whether Parker said because of his behavior. Once he confirmed that, he straight up defended the Mavs star, highlighting Dennis Rodman‘s career. However, after that, Parker went on a bashing spree and issued a stern warning to the star.
When Broussard brought in the Bulls legend’s angle, he highlighted the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. Notably, Rodman featured in the list and the Mavs star failed to make it to the list. He added, “For them to not count him as a top 75 and to pick Damian Lillard over him that says something.”
Furthermore, he issued a stern warning to the 8x NBA All-Star. He said, “There’s a chance that people will penalize him. I don’t think he’s a lock.” He also argued that Irving should be on the Top 75 list.
It was not only Rob Parker who was upset about the top 75 list, even Uncle Drew himself spoke about it once.

Uncle Drew on snubbing his name in the NBA 75 list
While it seemed reasonable to expect Irving’s name on the top 75 list, the All-Star’s name didn’t feature on the big night.
Following that, Irving said, “I think I’ll leave it to the conspiracy theorists. I think I was on the list… but I guess I’m not,” reported CBS Sports. Fans felt that the league snubbed his name because of his controversial statements in the past.
