LeBron James is extremely vocal about his passion for his kids playing basketball. Oftentimes, that excitement leads to him coaching his sons from the sidelines at their games. For his younger son Bryce James, Bron did just that and it seems to be working wonders for him.

Bryce is currently practicing in the 14th season of Nike EYBL (Elite Youth Basketball League). From the jump, the younger James has been one of the major attractions of the league. However, in his most recent game against the sensational Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, LeBron’s coaching came to his aid. According to a post on X, “Bryce James just dropped 21 PTS vs the Boozer Twins,” the post also mentions LeBron coaching his team Strive for Greatness or SFG.

Bryce put up 21 points while shooting 5 for 9 from three-pointers along with 5 rebounds. Annihilating the sons of NBA legend Carlos Boozer is no small feat as the brothers are projected as top prospects at the NBA drafts. Camron is at the top of draft class as a power forward, and his brother Cayden is 24th as a shooting guard.  With offers from six colleges, including their father’s alma mater, the Duke Blue Devils.

Bryce, on the other hand, is projected to have more offers than even his brother Bronny, who had nine offers. Standing at 6’6, the younger James plays at the shooting guard position, and according to Brian Windhorst, “More naturally talented son appears to be Bryce, but the one wants it so badly is Bronny.” So, which of the James brothers will come out on top?

Can Bryce James surpass Bronny?

Coming out of high school, Bronny was the 19th-best prospect in the country and also the 5th-best guard of his class. The tragic cardiac arrest he went through last year, affected his freshman efforts at USC, resulting in his NBA draft stock plummeting exponentially. Still, his current performances at the NBA combine have led experts to believe that he might be a second-round pick at 54 instead of initially being at 98, turning things in his favor.

Bryce is also a top prospect like his brother, already having offers from Ohio State and Duquesne. On top of that, he has a scout grade of 78, which could increase significantly increasing his college offers and his chances in the NBA Draft class of 2025. Do you think Bryce will have it easier than Bronny did? Or will he be able to manage being a first-round pick for the draft?
