A once a lifetime moment for Embiid, his teammates all made sure to be with the bigman through this time, except for James Harden.

The co-star of the Philadelphia 76ers duo, James Harden was not present at Embiid’s wedding. His absence managed to cause civil unrest among 76ers fans on social media.

Joel Embiid achieves another milestone this offseason

Philadelphia 76ers fans were excited when the team traded for James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets. The 76ers got another All-Star to pair with their star center Joel Embiid and the hopes were high.

Unfortunately for the Sixers, the team suffered a first-round exit from the playoffs at the hands of the Boston Celtics. But one good thing that came out of the season was Joel Embiid winning his first MVP Award.

Recently, the 6’11 center just tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Anne de Paula. The two had been together since early 2018 and merely three months after winning his first MVP, Embiid achieved another milestone in life.

Given how important this day was for him, all his teammates made sure to make their presence known. Except for star teammate James Harden. In a picture uploaded online, Joel Embiid could be seen posing with Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris to name a new.

However, James Harden was nowhere to be seen and fans certainly did not like that move.

Fans lash out at James Harden

James Harden not showing up for his teammate Joel Embiid’s wedding led fans to lash out at The Beard for ditching this event. “They are so happy for his first and only ring,” a fan reacted.

While another fan commented, “This is all the confirmation we need. Harden is gone.”

A lot of fans speculated that Harden not being invited was a sign that his tenure with the 76ers may well be over. While other fans trolled Embiid for the only ring he will ever receive.
