Veteran point guard Chris Paul dropped a huge message to the Dubs’ young ones. After a disheartening loss against the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors sought revenge tonight. Following the game, proud CP3 had nothing but a warning to the Warriors rookies and youngsters like Trayce Jackson-Davis, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski, and Jonathan Kuminga.
During the post-game interview, CP3 revealed his role in the team, apart from leading the second unit. He said, “It’s hard ’cause I got a very strong personality man… It is like a coach. You should be worried if I ain’t saying nothing to you… I’m just constantly trying to teach and play and compete at the same time… I just want them guys to know that we got enough. We just got to play that way.”

The Warriors really had turned the tables around in the last two months. It wasn’t just the insane consistency between Stephen Curry and Jonathan Kuminga. The second unit played a huge part in the team’s dominant comeback. The Dubs currently hold the third place in the league for the bench points, averaging 43.2 points. It is only 4 points short of the leader, the Indiana Pacers.
While Chris Paul missed out on a huge stretch in the Warriors comeback run, he orchestrated the play from the sidelines. There were plenty of visuals of CP3, addressing the Dubs’ bench during his recovery. Moreover, Klay Thompson‘s inclusion in the bench has added more depth to the bench. In short, the Dubs have a 12x NBA All-Star and 4x NBA Champion in their second unit.
However, the veteran ballers did only half the task, and the rest were taken care by the young ones.

Firstly, the Warriors made a huge steal with the Trayce Jackson-Davis draft. The Warriors went to the draft with only one pick and but later grabbed another from the Wizards. The team roped in TJD as the 57th pick. However, the rookie is putting on a great show so far. Tonight, he left the Dubs bench flabbergasted when dropped a poster dunk on #1 pick Victor Wembanyama.
