Bronny James has been slowly getting into the whirlpool of choices to pick one of the NBA teams for his debut in the league. Though the biggest contenders for the role are the Lakers and the Suns, agent Rich Paul has announced to explore all the options. He is determined to choose only the most organic team for Bronny, who genuinely needs him. But no matter how much Paul explains, the NBA community is ablaze with rumors of Bronny landing with the Los Angeles Lakers. Nevertheless, NBA analysts Chris Broussard and Rob Parker brought out a different aspect for LeBron’s son at the Lakers onThe Odd Couple’ show.

Referring to Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s brother Thanasis, Rob Parker took a dig at Bronny James as he stated, “If you are Giannis’ brother just sitting there, there’s a 12th man, and you don’t play. It’s still nepotism.” Interestingly, the 31-year-old is part of the Milwaukee Bucks roster along with his brother. However, despite him being a liability, he is still there sitting on the Bucks’ side and not playing. Rob Parker thought about the previous incident and reflected the same thing on Bronny. “If Bronny starts to get action and play, I don’t think they [Lakers] are going to use him as a mascot. Bronny is gonna be a mascot because that’s what he’ll be.”

Contrary to Rob, Chris Broussard shared different views as he thought that the Lakers would put Bronny to use if they picked him up. It is all about the Championship for now in the purple and gold jerseys camp. They love LeBron James, but it is the NBA title that the team is after. If that goal is not achieved, there is no use for a star-studded team. Therefore, Bronny might get a fair chance to play, according to Broussard, if LeBron’s team picks him up.

Can Bronny James end the probable dark Lakers’ fate?

Rich Paul has already claimed that Bronny is a raw talent. That’s also a motive for Paul to look for a genuine team, as the 19-year-old needs space and guidance to polish his skills. He can’t be playing in college for his whole life. Moreover, the trouble around the worth of Bronny James in the Lakers is also causing quite a stir. But there is a scope of growth for Bronny in that chaos.

There is no such rule that the players will only play in the NBA. They can also play in other leagues, including the G-League. Though the NBA schedule is so tight that players don’t dare to play in different leagues. From Jalen Green to Pascal Siakam, some greats have dominated the league after coming back from the G-league.

Even if Bronny James doesn’t get a spot in the league this season, he can hone his skills at the G-League. After that, he will be a great addition to the Lakers roster. But for now, it is expected that King James’ elder son will get a spot on one of the NBA teams. What is your prediction for Bronny’s spot in the league?
