The 29-year-old winger for Chicago Bulls Zach LaVine is going through a fate much darker than that from his past. Despite averaging 19.5 points over 25 games this season, the teams are not ready to trade him. Various factors are adding to such resistance towards LaVine from the league teams. The first factor was his poor performance with the team this year. Adding to that, his subsequent foot surgery rubbed salt in his wounds, as no team is ready to take such a risk now. With the hopes of giving away the Bulls center, they are offering a better proposal to the teams.
As per NBA insider Bobby Marks’ latest update, “There is no market for Zach Lavine. They are trying to give him away and attach a first round pick. I’ve been told that by multiple, multiple people.” Apparently, the disgrace an athlete can experience with the aforementioned statement is unmeasured. LaVine is a no-joke Olympic gold medalist. However, the times are not going well, and the teams are not ready to take an injured player. The only player who can stop all these trade talks for LaVine is 2x NBA Champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

“The Magic, Bulls and Dallas Mavericks will also go after the two-time NBA champion. The Nuggets reportedly declined to do a sign-and-trade with the Mavs for the shooting guard.”

The Denver Nuggets winger has got the interest of the Chicago Bulls front office as he is entering free agency this year. As per the Athletic insider Tim Kawakami, the Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic are also going for KCP. However, the Nuggets have already denied a sign-and-trade agreement to the Mavs for the shooting guard. In addition to that, the Nuggets shooting guard has much easier compensation[$15M] than LaVine’s big $49 million player option.
Golden State Warriors might be ready to bear Zach LaVine’s financial strain!
After failing to land the much anticipated Paul George on their roster, the Golden State Warriors are eyeing an alternative replacement. They must fill the vacuum left by Klay Thompson’s departure from the team. Since both of the parties have not conceded any agreement, Klay’s omission from the team is a done deal. However, in his place, the Dubs will either sign a trade agreement for acquiring Brandon Ingram or choose the first pick along with Zach LaVine from the Chicago Bulls, as per Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer.
For the past two years, LaVine has been dominating the trade talks with the Dubs. But Paul George suddenly got attention this year. He opted out and became a free agent. Therefore, LaVine will most likely play alongside Stephen Curry at the Golden State Warriors to score and create floor spacing. Although it is a risk for the Warriors as well, they have the salary cap restriction holding them where they are currently.

The Warriors have finished this season with a 46-36 record. Moreover, they could not make it to the playoffs after losing to the Sacramento Kings during the play-in tournament. They have won just one playoff series in the last two years. And won the NBA Championship in the year 2022 lately. Therefore, they’ll try to restore their legacy slowly. But can they do it next season?
