It is a dream come true for Brandon Miller at the Spectrum Center. The Charlotte Hornets recently hosted the Los Angeles Clippers, in hopes of separating themselves from the GSW loss. However, behind Paul George’s 41 points, the Clippers created a 12-point lead at the half; maintaining the margin till the final buzzer. The game served as a sure-shot chance for the LA team to maintain their 4th place in the West. For the Hornets, it hints at the dismal season they have endured.

However, for Miller, the night became all about witnessing his idol, PG, first-hand. Miller, throughout his NBA journey, has cited George to be his favorite player while growing up. With that, the rookie was seen exchanging jerseys with George after the game, marking an evolved chapter in his fandom.

The nights marks Miller’s first game ever against PG. Interestingly, the two, because of their position ont he court and style of play, were an ideal matchup for the game. Talking about his versatility on the court, Miller even shared a move he stole from PG’s bag. He rookies said, “I took a step-back from him. He drops it through his leg, back to the same hand and then jabs you. He steps back and that s*** is nasty.”

Miller’s opinion resonates with the growing appreciation in Paul George’s free-flowing game. Few such examples are Aaron Gordon of the Denver Nuggets and Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have displayed similar admiration for Paul’s play-style, hoping to imbibe it in their own.
