Charles Barkley further dug into the March conspiracy! We all know that LeBron James won’t lace up for a few games and the Lakers are already exposed. Ever since the 4x NBA Champ walked out of the Celtics game with a groin injury, the NBA world has a lot to say. A certain section of fans felt it was the superstar’s standard operation procedure at the end of the regular season. Guess what? Chuck widened the conspiracy amid JJ Redick’s latest travel update.
Tonight, the LA side took on the Milwaukee Bucks. From the initial looks, it didn’t look good at all. Giannis Antetokounmpo & Co. has completely strangled the Lakers’ offense. Even Luka Doncic couldn’t move the needle and the 62-year-old legend was on to something before the Bucks’ domination even transpired.
Speaking at the Inside Show, Charles Barkley hinted at why LeBron James didn’t lace up. “He wasn’t going to play, anyway. LeBron’s probably out… Probably for the rest of the season. I don’t see him coming back,” said Chuck. Following that, he reasoned, “We don’t have to ask his agent, and he stayed in New York because it was New York. He didn’t want to go to Milwaukee cuz it’s Milwaukee. That’s why he flew back home.”

After a dominant stretch to capture the #2 spot, the Lakers went on a four-game road trip. Unfortunately, Bron injured himself in the first game of the trip. While he traveled along with the team to New York for the second game against the Brooklyn Nets, the 40-year-old returned to LA ahead of tonight’s game. Chuck simply implied that LeBron James was comfortable when it came down to a 12th-seeding team and not with a 4th-seeding. Importantly, when everyone thought the Lakers would get back to their winning ways against the Nets after the Celtics’ loss, they blew it.
All of a sudden, they are on a three-game losing streak, slipping down to the 4th seed. But why did Barkley drop this confident claim? Let’s find out.

Coach JJ’s latest update on LeBron James fueled Chuck’s harsh attack
Ahead of tonight’s game, JJ Redick announced that LeBron James, along with Rui Hachimura and Jaxson Hayes, have traveled to California. In short, they won’t be present on the bench during the Bucks game. At the pre-game presser, Redick said, “Frankly, they’re better served without the travel and rehabbing back in LA.”

Importantly, the Lakers have another game left on the road trip. And it’s a big too. They take on the second-seeded Nuggets at the Mile-High City. The wounded Nuggets are fresh off the loss against the Wolves. So, it directly means that the Denver side is desperate to get back to the W column. And in turn means that the Lakers may get on a four-game losing streak.

What’s your perspective on:
Is LeBron James avoiding games, or is there more to his absence than meets the eye?
Have an interesting take?
With three starters out on injury, the LA Lakers, which looked like a championship side a while ago, are far from it. So, Charles Barkley seemed to have connected the dots and formed a harsh attack on King James. However, it’s debatable, just like the March conspiracy.
Some argue that the superstar had deliberately injured himself in March to prepare himself for the postseason. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
