Celtics Parade 2024: MVP Jaylen Brown Ends “Single” Status, Bags WNBA Star in Crazy Celebration

The Boston Celtics are having a gala time, winning the championship title after a drought of 16 years. The Celtics, on June 21, took out their parade down the streets of Boston that started from Causeway Street and ended near the Hynes Convention Center. The parade had a lot of noticeable faces that attracted attention. However, one face that stunned all was the Chicago Sky star Kysre Gondrezick who was in the procession with the Celtics champion Jaylen Brown.

Brown had previously stated that he was not in a relationship. He chose to speak about it when the Eastern Conference ended. Before starting his game against the Dallas Mavericks, Brown divulged that he was binge-watching the Harry Potter series since he was not romantically involved with anyone while his teammates were with their families having a good time. But Gondrezick’s appearance in the parade next to Brown as the latter carried his championship trophy will certainly spark rumors.

Looking at Brown’s past, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was dating the beautiful WNBA star. Brown was previously speculated to be dating the top model Bernice Burgos. The duo was spotted in a New York pub in 2022. They were seen enjoying themselves on a beach the next year as well.

However, Brown’s latest admission about watching Harry Potter while the others enjoyed with their families had put to rest all the rumors about him dating anyone. Now his involvement with Gondrezick after bagging the NBA title comes as another mystery of his dating life.

Gondrezick is a teammate to the WNBA sensation Angel Reese and plies her trade for the Chicago Sky. She was born in Michigan and was drafted as the fourth overall pick by the Indiana Fever in 2021. However, she could only participate in one season for the Fever and now is a part of the Sky. Even though her performances have been average, she has set the stage on fire with her swag and looks. Brown is no less either, as he has now delivered on the biggest stage.

Jaylen Brown played exceptionally well in the Finals

The Celtics won the NBA title and a major reason for it was Brown’s exemplary performance. He potted over 20 points in four of the five games in the finals and was unstoppable. His highest came in Game 3 where he thrashed a commendable 30 points. Brown also contributed effectively in both rebounds and assists. His highest rebounds in the Finals series were 8 in Game 3 and 5 and his best assists tally was 8 assists in Game 3. For his on-court brilliance, Brown won the Finals MVP.

Even in the regular season, Brown averaged a whopping 23 points per game with 5.5 rebounds per match and 3.6 assists per contest. The Celtics have groomed a stunning star in Brown who has been loyal to the franchise since 2016.
