This one’s special for the James’s. LeBron James will be visiting Cleveland with his son in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey for the first time, and it’s bound to be emotional for the ‘Akron Hammer’. Furthermore, there is no doubt that the Cavaliers will welcome the father and son with open hands as the undefeated Cavs squad looks to extend that record.
While the love will be there, the ‘216’ will be cheering for their team as the matchup gets underway. As such, let’s take a look at the injury report for tonight’s game. The Purple & Gold has a rather long list with familiar names and key pieces looking either doubtful or out.

Players confirmed to remain out of the matchup are Christian Koloko, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Christian Wood. Both Wood and Vando continue to recuperate from long-term ailments. Foot injuries have hampered the latter forthe majority of his time with Los Angeles.
According to Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times, JJ Redick had mentioned he was set to be evaluated in two weeks. Talking about Vanderbilt’s reason for missing time last season, McMenamin said, “He had the right foot, the mid-foot issue taken care of, and the doctor [said], ‘So long as we’re going in, you’re going to be off your feet anyway, let’s go look in that left foot,’ and there was a bone spur in there.”
As for Koloko, McMenamin reported that his reason for being sidelined was “return to competition reconditioning.” The other two names on the report are D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves. D’Lo has a ‘questionable’ tag because of lower back soreness while Reaves is ‘probable’ with a left thigh contusion. Moreover, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Maxwell Lewis, Quincy Olivari, and Amare Traore will also be ‘Out’ for G League duties.

A look at LeBron James & Co.’s depth chart with key pieces doubtful for Cavs game
The eagerly anticipated matchup will take place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as the Cavs play host to the Lakers. It is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM ET. It was a tough loss for the Lakers against the Suns. And their next opponents aren’t going to make things any easier. For one, as mentioned above, the ‘City of Champions’ has a flawless record so far and they achieved it by playing good basketball.
But as Anthony Davis echoed, the only thing the Purple & Gold can do is make sure to avoid losing two in a row. That said, let’s take a look at the Lakers’ depth chart.

As the Lakers prepare for this crucial matchup, maintaining focus and executing their game plan will be essential to avoid a second consecutive loss. Hopefully, this effort proves enough to secure a victory against the Cavaliers.
