The American business executive has faith that the team can regain its past glory and is unwilling to settle for anything less. “We’re never going to bottom out. I won’t settle for that. We’re not doing that,” he asserts. Joe bought a majority stake in the team in 2010. Before this, the Warriors had made it to the playoffs only once in the previous 16 seasons. However, he expects the team to pull up their socks and rebuild their dynasty. He wants the Warriors to not lose their competitive spirit despite the challenges they are currently facing. “I can’t make everything work all the time. There’s no way to predict that. Draymond’s suspensions greatly slowed down the team, Klay Thompson has lost his touch, and young star Jonathan Kuminga is yet to truly find his groove. Additionally, it is no secret that age has caught up to the core players.
