The Boston Celtics took down the Philadelphia 76ers with a 117-107 final score. Jayson Tatum led the team once again with his scoring, finishing the game with 29 points. But the bigger highlight of the game was Derrick White. White came alive in the fourth quarter when the team needed another scoring outburst from someone. The 6’3 guard lit up the 76ers defense as he scored 14 points in the final minutes of the game, shifting the momentum of the matchup in the Celtics’ favor.

White stepped up in Jaylen Brown?s absence and scored 27 points to hand the 76ers their third loss of the season. White?s performance had fans going nuts in the arena and that was the reaction online as well.

Derrick White however has been a part of the Celtics for a while now. And not too long ago, White?s heroics were roaring throughout the city of Boston when the Celtics faced off against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

So, it should not come off as a total surprise to see White taking on such a huge offensive load when the team needed it the most. Granted that the most scored by any 76ers player were 20 points but the Celtics did not have Porzingis either.
