The NBA regular season is back to its normal schedule after an All-Star Weekend break. One of the highly anticipated matchups, however, is still in progress, as the New York Knicks face off against the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden. Many excited fans have turned up to watch the game live inside the world-renowned arena, including a few Hollywood alums as well.
As the game progressed steadily, people were quick to take to social media and point out a few recognizable faces sitting amongst them. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a couple of fans captured celebrity chef and TV personality Martha Stewart, who was sitting courtside with a young boy. Stewart, clad in a bright orange sweater, put on a bright smile as the camera turned up towards her.
Another prominent face in the crowd was former NBA player Carmelo Anthony, who had possibly shown up to support the very same team to whom he had devoted six years of his professional basketball career to. Melo was sitting alongside American singer and actress Mary J. Blige. A wholesome moment occured as the two celebrities kept pointing towards each other when the camera focused on them.

Renowned TV actor Rainn Wilson, who is most prominently known for his role as Dwight Schrute in the hit comedy series ‘The Office’, was also present. Paying no heed to the on-court camera, the 58-year-old actor was seen capturing his own special moments on his phone. The last person to grab the attention of fans was actor Christopher Melont, who gained widespread recognition after appearing as NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler for 12 seasons on Law and Order: SVU.

The Knicks, who haven’t won an NBA championship since 1973, are currently positioned as the 4 seed on the Western Conference Points table. While the team is looking to maintain its momentum, the Celtics are looking to further their interests and make another addition to their three-game win streak.
The Celtics ended up owning the advantage during the first half, with shooting guard Jaylen Brown scoring 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists during his initial 26 minutes. With the Knicks currently behind their rival by double digits, the team would be feeling the absence of their power forward Julius Randle, who couldn’t play due to having sustained a shoulder injury back in January.
Just like the celebrities and hundreds of fans sitting inside the Madison Garden, many NBA enthusiasts continue to watch the game in anticipation. The next few minutes will provide an answer on who emerges victorious in the end.
