LeBron James chose his side ahead of the much-awaited Super Bowl clash! And it’s not the defending champs. The 76ers hosted the Lakers for the Tuesday night regular season clash tonight. It’s the only occasion where the Philly side will host the Lakers this season. Ahead of the game, King James linked up with the two Philadelphia Eagles stars at the courtside and briefly exchanged words before getting on with his warm-up.
It was Eagles’ AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The duo took a time out of their intense practice ahead of the Sunday night Super Bowl challenge against the Kansas City Chiefs and got the premium seats to catch some balling action. If not for LeBron James, who else can guarantee to put up a great basketball show?

We are unsure about Bron’s conversations with the Philly wide receivers, but one thing is for sure. The superstar wished them luck ahead of the rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl challenge. The last time the City of Brotherly Love took on Patrick Mahomes & Co. at State Farm Stadium, they missed the chance to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy by a whisker. Can they change that and restrict the Chiefs from clinching a three-peat? Only time will tell.
However, it was unquestionably a tough journey for the Chiefs to make it to the Final showdown, unlike the Eagles. The Philly side rammed over the Washington Commanders with a 55-23 last Sunday.
Kansas, meanwhile, nearly missed the mark despite a strong 17-2 season. The Buffalo Bills’ late lead in the third quarter left everyone worrying, and the defending dragged the fortune back to their side in the thrilling 32-29 matchup.

LeBron James spots another Eagles star from the crowd
LeBron James left everyone on their feet during his shoot-around ahead of the game. Fans could see the legend exchanging words with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith during his practice in the video. What we missed was how James acknowledged the presence of another Eagles star.
It was none other than the Eagles’ cornerback, Darius Slay. LeBron James didn’t just acknowledge him with a wave of a hand or something, but called him by his famous moniker ‘Big Game Slay’. It’s not a surprising gesture from the superstar. He’s someone who remembers different dap-ups for different players. No one knows how many dap-ups he has to keep track of.

Moreover, it’s well-known that James has been a diehard football fan. Without fail, he always dropped his opinions on the NFL, either via his social media or podcasts. So, the Eagles players at the Wells Fargo Center should know that the 4x NBA Champ has kept track of their performances all season long.
Anyway, with three Eagles players linking up with Bron ahead of the Super Bowl, will it turn into luck or curse? Let us know in the comments.
