Thomas, on a recent episode of JJ Redick’s The Old Man and The Three, showcased his raw honesty off the court. The 22-year-old proved that he is not scared to call a spade, a spade.

When Reddick asked him if he was prepared to be in the league, Thomas said, “I felt prepared going through college onto the league. Obviously, the situation I was in was kinda crazy, coming into a team with, you know three Hall of Famers.”

He further added, “I wasn’t really expecting that but obviously you learn from them, and when you get the opportunity you can just apply everything that you learned through the game. So I feel like I was prepared for whatever.”

Learning from NBA veterans like Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving has surely shaped Thomas’ knowledge of the game. His passion for learning from these basketball superstars indicates a dedication to constant progress and shows his ambition to contribute meaningfully to his team’s success. Thomas at the age of 22, has proved how valuable he is to his franchise. With each game, the rookie sensation makes an evident impression as a lethal scorer, grabbing the spotlight. His ability to average 26.7 points per game demonstrates his attacking brilliance and natural scoring instincts.

However, while having a good run in the NBA, he twisted his ankle. However, instead of getting discouraged due to his injury, it fueled a determination in him to come back even stronger. This shows that this 22-year-old player not only has an amazing skillset but he also is mentally very strong.

Cam Thomas returned to play against the Charlotte Hornets after missing 9 games straight. However, the comeback he made was an explosive one as he managed to score 26 points for his team. Coming off the bench, he looked aggressive as in just 12 minutes of play he scored 17 points. But even after his offensive onslaught, the Nets couldn’t secure a victory and lost by just one point.

While Thomas had a huge impact, Brooklyn had problems on the defensive end, enabling the Hornets to shoot 50.5% from the field and giving up 21 three-pointers. So even though the 23-year-old Rookie dominated the attack for his team, their defense was the reason why they lost against the Hornets. As the season unfolds, the Nets’ ability to integrate Thomas into the rotation and solve defensive errors will be critical in their quest for success.
