The situation in the Bay Area spirals out of control. At this time point, no update can be shrugged off as a rumor after the Luka-AD trade. Many trolled the Lakers fans, labeling them as “delusional”, for constantly wishing for a superstar trade. Now the situation has taken a ‘U-Turn’, as other fandoms look at them wistfully. Notably, since the shocking trade the rumor mill has hit desperate Warriors fans with multiple superstar trades. And with the latest Zion Williamson update, fans approach it with a tinge of humor.

Well, we can’t really blame them. Ever since Shams Charania shook the sports world with ‘that’ update, the Dubs were linked with the following players: Jimmy Butler, Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and even Kevin Durant. Notably, the tabs on the Slim Reaper trade are still open. Amid this juncture, we have a fresh update, saying that Mike Dunleavy & Co. are making a serious push on Pelicans’ Zion.

It certainly can’t be ignored either, especially, after Charania himself updated that the Warriors were aggressively looking for an All-Star caliber player. Moreover, Zion Williamson also has an uncertain situation at New Orleans as multiple reports suggested that the team could send out both Zanos and Brandon Ingram out and start off from scratch. Above all, Evan Sidery reported that the Hornets recently inquired the Pels about the big man. So, guess what? Anything is possible. Anyway, that being said, Williamson, sadly can’t get away without facing the fitness criticism. Now, it got a new spin after Draymond Green‘s new business.

Dubs fan fear amidst the new Zion Williamson rumor

The Pels star has been subjected to serious online trolling linked to his fitness, as he continues to miss games with injuries. In the same vein, a fan has brought in a fresh humor except it’s again in a bad taste. A fat-shaming joke, once again. Reacting to the latest trade rumor, the fan wrote, Draymond opens up a restaurant, and here comes Zion… Yes, for those who don’t know, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that DrayMagic was all set to open an Ethiopian-Dominican fusion restaurant at Lower Nob Hill this March. Hence, the ‘humor’.

And it’s not it. We have some of them. Another fan, carry on with the troll, replied, That is one good pitch I’d say. On the other hand, some fans were serious about the situation and went on to critically analyze the deal.  A fan wrote, He will play 3 games in a season our front office isn’t serious.” 50 games into the season, Williamson has already missed 36 games. Even though “3” was an exaggerated number, this fan felt that the star would continue to miss games.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Zion and Looney dominate the paint for the Warriors, or is it just wishful thinking?

Have an interesting take?

Meanwhile, some fans subscribed to the new idea and wished this trade would materialize. A fan wrote, I‘d roll with Z. Him and Looney would rule down low.” This fan even came up with the reason why Zion would fit with the Warriors. Even though the Dubs have impressed their paint buckets this season, they would for sure need an explosive power forward like Zion to exploit it further. There are multiple occassions where Andrew Wiggins struggled to penetrate the front court despite his swifty moves.

Similarly, another fan came up with a special addition to the trade proposal, writing, I’d take Ingram and Zion for kuminga and a few picks” With Brandon Ingram on the trade block for a while, this trade is ultimately possible. But the only question is, will the team send out Kuminga? Let us know in the comments.
