The memories of Kyrie Irving dancing with Kai Cenat are still fresh in my mind. Dallas’ brightest star’s moves had the internet talking. Who knew away from the NBA’s hustle there was a hip-hop artist in him? But wait, there’s something else coming ahead for the 32-year-old 1x champ. And it looks like someone is following Cenat’s path into having Kyrie in their streaming.

Well, it can be a blockbuster or a major, major disaster, but one of YouTube’s big names is collaborating with Irving. Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, better known as Sneako informed on Saturday:

“On Tuesday, I have a big stream. I will be going to New Jersey to stream at Kyrie Irving’s house. Big shout out to Kyrie Irving. Been chopping it up with him for a couple of weeks. He’s been very busy. It’s a hectic season, but he randomly hit me up and we’ve been talking a little bit and he said I could stream in his house.”

If you’re a Kai fan or a Sneako fan or both, mark January 28 on your calendars. It might be a treat for the fans. But knowing the reputation Sneako has had in the past, Kyrie Irving’s fans are worried for their favorite star. Thus, pleading to the Mavericks star, the die-hards want the star to steer clear of the streaming plans. Meanwhile, there’s outrage.

Fans express worries and disappointment as Kyrie Irving gives a thumbs-up to Sneako

“Kai Cenat did it first Sneako is just a follower trying to impress my goat Kai,” a fan pointed out. Well, as mentioned before, Kyrie Irving and Kai Cenat’s Thanksgiving collaboration somewhat broke the internet. It was pure joy from the basketball icon that got social media buzzing with delight. The dance moves and little jokes he cracked were moments the fans relished. But, the kind of doubts and skepticism they have around the whole Sneako streaming is very palpable.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Kyrie Irving risking his reputation by teaming up with Sneako, or is it a genius move?

Have an interesting take?

And, why shouldn’t that be the case? Sneako’s reputation on the internet isn’t great. The 26-year-old streamer, infamous for his controversial conservative views and reckless social critiques, lost his YouTube account in 2022 for spreading misinformation. But on October 20, 2024, YouTube unexpectedly brought it back—only to slam the door shut again just hours later, this time for good. Now back, Sneako has sparked worry among Irving’s fans. Therefore, one of them uttered in disbelief: “I can’t believe Kyrie is doing this bro.” followed by an image of shocked Homelander, the anti-hero from the popular series The Boys.

Meanwhile, someone mocked: “And this just in. Irving injured himself and can’t make it.” Well, Kyrie has indeed been dealing with injuries for a while now. He has missed quite a few games lately. His lumbar sprain in the lower back has been a big concern for the team. However, the star had been on the floor against the OKC Thunder on Thursday scoring 24 points in a 121-117 win against the beasts of the West. But then, will the fan’s imaginary injury or manifestation turn into reality and stop the plans? Surely not.

“Kyrie bored as hell,” someone remarked. Could this be a possibility? The NBA’s action could be strenuous and monotonous for the players at times. But for someone who’s played the sport throughout his life and has spent 14 seasons in the league, it feels like a stretch. Moreover, Kyrie’s 8 All-Star selections and championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers show he’s not “bored as hell.” Then why did he agree to join hands with Sneako? That’s the answer the fans want to know.

Another fan sounds clearly disappointed when they comment: “Out of all the streamers man,” followed by a GIF of the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry sitting on the court chewing his mouth guard. Look, fans are worried because Kyrie Irving has already been in controversies in the past by posting something antisemitic on social media. Thus fans don’t want history to repeat itself. They’re concerned, to say the least.
