Last year, King James became a part of a very exclusive club in the NBA. Forging his name in history yet again. Although his achievement had nothing to do with the hardwood floor, his exploits in it got him there. The kid from Akron, Ohio achieved the elusive billionaire status. Matthew Dellavedova is best known for being a part of the iconic 2016 Cavs team. They snatched the chip from the Dubs, despite them having the best regular season in NBA history. However, recently the Australian point guard found himself in the news for a totally different reason. In a press release, Swan Bitcoin announced the former NBA champion as their Vice President of Business Development.

Having been engaged in startup investments and advisory positions since 2017, Dellavedova is shifting his focus toward the Bitcoin industry.??I?m excited to be joining Swan to help spread adoption, especially in sports and Australia, where I’m still playing professional basketball,? said Dellavedova. He further added, “It’s already been a lot of fun learning from the experts at Swan, and I look forward to educating athletes, in particular, about the benefits of Bitcoin.”

Bitcoin has always been an unstable industry. However, as per recent reports revenue might show an annual growth rate of 14.40% resulting in a projected total amount of US$64.87bn by 2027. Meanwhile, if Dellavedova’s move into crypto will move him closer to being beside LeBron as a billionaire still remains in question.
