She talked about how her husband’s rise to stardom made her feel lonely at the time of her pregnancy. “I was so used to having him all to myself, and this was during a point when I felt like I had to share him.” Ayesha said as she described her emotional state during her pregnancy with Ryan. The couple’s second daughter, Ryan Curry, was born in 2015, which was around the same time when Steph led the Warriors to their first NBA championship since 1975.
Steph has been playing in the NBA since 2009, but his popularity grew exponentially, after he won the 2015 championship. Ayesha revealed this was a transitional time in their lives and it made her pregnancy very difficult. With all the notoriety and fame, she had to face online bullying and body shaming during her pregnancy. “Seeing people talk about my chubby cheeks, and I am pregnant… They don’t care.” Ayesha said about the trolls on social media.

During the time of Ayesha’s second pregnancy, she was also beginning her writing and acting career. That, combined with online trolling and constantly being in the public eye, took a toll on her. Ayesha felt like she was letting people down when she could not work because of her emotional state. She also revealed that Ryan stopped eating after she was born, affecting her health and weight, “It was scary for me.”
Despite all the emotional trauma, Ayesha cherished her time being pregnant with Ryan, “That was a beautiful time with her.”
