LeBron James entered the stadium in Denver, Colorado, wearing Louis Vuitton for his team’s first game of the season against the Denver Nuggets in October 2023. But only now is it official that King James is finally a Louis Vuitton man. After LeBron posted pictures of his collaboration with the world-famous French luxury brand on Instagram, his son, Bronny James, was very quick to share the photos on his Instagram story.
LeBron donned 3 different costumes in the pictures. In the first one, he donned a black tailored suit with satin lapels and a chain link brooch accessory. Next, an elegant brown matching knit cotton cardigan and trousers embellished with micro-embroidered portraits by the artist Henry Taylor on a fine knit incorporating contrasting LV signatures. Pearl buttons add a chic sartorial twist to this sophisticated piece. The last one he wore was a chocolate brown three-piece set of a long coat, button-down top, and trousers made from a satin material with rainbow gems adorned all over. Bronny stunned by the pictures had a one-word reaction and said, “Comply,” complimenting his father for the dashing looks.

Well, some of us already knew that Pharrell William, Men’s Creative Director at LV, had tapped the NBA legend to model his debut LV collection a few months ago.
LeBron James is Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton SS24 Cover star
LeBron’s debut Louis Vuitton campaign first appeared on billboards in New York on October 24, LeBron can be seen hoisting one of Pharrell’s signature LV Speedy bags over his shoulder. The Lakers star joined Rihanna in the campaign.
In the same month, King James arrived at Lakers vs. Nuggets game at Denver’s Ball Arena wearing a full Louis Vuitton outfit worth about $28,000. He donned a pixelated ‘Damoflage’ jacket, which was part of Pharrell Williams’ first runway collection for the French fashion house this summer — with a pair of the house’s Wool Tuxedo Cigarette Pants. He entered the arena wearing a pair of lug-soled black lace-ups similar to the Ranger Derby style, carrying not one, but two different Vuitton bags. James slung a still-unreleased bright green Speedy bag from the summer 2024 collection across his body, adding a second briefcase-style tote.

Louis Vuitton said, “LeBron James lends himself to Pharrell Williams’ debut collection, embodying the audacious energy and trailblazing vision of the Maison’s next menswear chapter.” A promo video was added on their official handle on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) and captioned, “LeBron James for Men’s Spring-Summer 2024. Williams previously collaborated with Louis Vuitton’s former creative director Marc Jacobs in the early 2000s on a series of jewelry and sunglasses. However, all of King James fits are a taste of the creative mind of Pharrell Williams. Let’s wait to see what the duo comes up with next for LV menswear.
