Twenty-two seasons. Four championships. Four-time MVP. 20-time All-Star. And many more such achievements. LeBron James was, is, and will always be a force to reckon with. Would you even believe that the legend just turned 40? Well, you might feel it’s a tale because of how he plays on the court. Nothing less than his younger teammates or somewhat like a sophomore. Yes, the GOAT debate will continue for years, but many firmly view Bron as today’s greatest of all time.

Besides, it would be surprising if his son and LA Lakers teammate Bronny James wasn’t a fan of his dad. He has enjoyed the privilege of being LeBron James’ child. But then, diving into the 20-year-old’s game stats, it says he needs improvement. That’s beside the point. It’s the day to celebrate his dad and his legacy in the NBA.

The NBA eagerly celebrates James Sr.’s entry into his fourth decade of existence. And the first person to join the part is Bronny. He partnered with former collegiate basketball player and YouTuber Caleb Feemster to answer some LeBron James trivia. The host asked Bronny questions ranging from LeBron’s debut game to the achievements he has made in his career. James Sr.’s firstborn was able to answer almost 87.5% of the trivia. Amidst all the questions and their answers there was one that surprised the rook. “How many times has LeBron led the league in scoring?” Caleb asked. “Maybe I say like six,” Answered Bronny James. But the correct answer was once. “Once?” asked the shocked SG.

However, it’s interesting to see, that James Jr. knows and remembers all of his dad’s achievements. After all, it’s this legacy that’s getting passed on to him. And Bronny surely has to live up to the expectations the fans and the NBA have in store for him. Meanwhile, the Commissioner, Adam Silver has shared his honest thoughts on LeBron James turning 40.

LeBron James often sparks GOAT debates in the NBA. Fans compare him to legends like Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry. But, on Monday, as LeBron turned 40, the NBA community showered him with messages. Even Commissioner Adam Silver shared his thoughts. LeBron’s longevity is a key argument in the GOAT debate. At 40, he’s in his 22nd season—an achievement only 5% of players have reached. Along the way, he’s broken countless records, solidifying his legacy.

Commissioner Adam Silver praised LeBron, saying: “In some ways, he’s a freak of nature. I’ve been around a lot of great players, and he’s one of the hardest-working players I’ve ever met. He doesn’t take a day off—he doesn’t even take an afternoon off.” Silver continued, highlighting LeBron James’ dedication: “He’s always working on some part of his body. You meet with him, and he’s either soaking something, eating something, or using some contraption to recover.”
