Bronny James’ Draft Combine exhibition was super intense! In the last few days, the eldest son of LeBron James has been making huge waves in the NBA world. Amid the criticism of nepotism and poor college record, he received the medical clearance to play in the big league. Tonight, the all-NBA teams had their first look at the 19-year-old’s balling action at the Combine. And Adrian Wojnarowski predicts Bronny to be a boost for the league, both on the basketball side and the business one.
Reporting from the Draft Combine in Chicago, the ESPN veteran said, “Bronny James is gonna have an impact for organizations not just on the basketball side but potentially on the business side. He is almost assuredly gonna start in the G League. He will pack G League arenas, merchandising. All of those make him an attractive player. So his opportunity to play in the NBA is there.” While he may not be among the topmost picks at the draft, many are now certain that he’d find an NBA home.
Teams are intrigued by Bronny James because of the financial impact he will have on their G League level at the beginning of his career, per @wojespn:

The G League has been the breeding ground for the NBA franchises to build their future stars. While the league already has its own set of viewership, Wojnarowski felt that Bronny James’ inclusion could further boost its business. This not only makes James Jr. a rising star but also serves Adam Silver’s cause, who is currently busy sorting the media rights deal.
The 19-year-old already took a dent in his NIL valuation after his poor freshman-year run. It dropped down to $3.7 million. Notably, he had only a minimum time to prepare for the season as he suffered a cardiac arrest. Despite that, he made a comeback. Unfortunately, it didn’t prove him any good as he ended the season, averaging 4.8 points with 2.1 assists per game, coming off the bench.
Nevertheless, the rising star again cleared his medical examination for the Draft Combine and showcased his talent. While his NIL value has dropped down, Woj’s latest statement could again pull him back into the business.

While the answer to the question remained far from reality for a long time, it finally seems to be a possibility. Bronny James made himself available for the Draft and the LA Lakers could pick him up in the draft. And Shams Charania solidified those hopes in his latest interview. On top of that, he also stated that King James would also see himself playing in the league for at least two more seasons.
On the other hand, Stephen A. Smith’s brutal monologue after the Darvin Ham dismissal came true. Following the breaking update, Smith went on his show and blamed James for this decision. Moreover, he didn’t stop at that. He also said, “He (LeBron James) gonna get his three-year extension, he gonna get his money… If he wants them to, they’ll grab Bronny no one else might.”
He further predicted that the Lakers would rope in the 19-year-old for their G League side, South Bay Lakers. By the looks of Woj’s statement and Bronny’s Draft Combine performance, the LA side might even rope him on the main roster!
