Will LeBron's fatherly instincts keep Bronny away from Atlanta's infamous nightlife temptations?

There’s going to be some friction in the James household! LeBron James finally got the chance to play in the pros with his son on the Los Angeles Lakers’ opening night, marking a historic start to the season. The shout of “James to James” from the announcers was much awaited, and even though Bronny did not get much time on the court, this father-son duo was memorable. And yet, while they’re both basketball players, the older James still holds influence over his son as a dad!

When comedian DC Youngfly appeared on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back on Tuesday, he had an interesting insight to share for when this hooping duo faces the Hawks. “(LeBron) will most definitely make sure Bronny don’t come to Atlanta. He’s gonna be like, ‘Them strip clubs is gonna get you son. You don’t need to be in no Blue Flame. Heard about the Lemon Pepper Wings,'” Youngfly laughed as he talked about his hometown.

Atlanta is famously known as the Strip Club Capital of America and Thrillist.com reports there might be well over 30 in the city. Moreover, DC Youngfly perhaps rightly imagines LeBron wouldn’t want his 20-year-old son to join the team when they go to State Farm Arena in early December! Bronny might just be sitting out the Dec. 6 game but then again, realistically speaking, how long can King James do that?!

But of course, this hypothetical scenario could turn out to be completely wrong with LeBron raising no objection to Bronny James traveling the country in his first season as a pro with his dad by his side. Rookies need to experience it all and the Lakers’ new guard will be no different. So far, the overall No. 55 pick has played in three Lakers games, including vs. his hometown team of Cleveland and even scoring his first points in the NBA against the Cavaliers.

One player on the opposite team, a former Laker who has long been a teammate of James proposed another idea about the other James son.

Tristan Thompson wants LeBron to play with Bryce in the NBA after Bronny James

Have an interesting take?

While baseball has seen several father-son duos, and even the NFL has seen one play together, the Jamess has made history for basketball. And the way LeBron James plays at age 38, he still has several years left in the tank. Or so Tristan Thompson thinks and wants him around for his second son’s debut in the pro league as well.

“Look at how ‘Bron is playing,” Thompson said recently. “He could probably play another four or five more years and he might as well keep playing so he can play with Bryce. He’s going to end up doing it, he is. That’s what’s going to happen. All three of them are going to be on the same team.”

While the Cavaliers star admitted he would not get to do the same with his kids, he couldn’t help but be cheerful for his friend and former teammate. It’s something basketball will probably not see again anytime soon in the upcoming decades. Even if they do, LeBron and Bronny did it first.
