Bronny James, the projected second-round pick will be on the lookout on day two of the Draft. The Lakers, who have their pick locked in at 55th are hopeful to land Bronny. However, each year, the league invites Draft prospects to the Green Room where they can sit with their families. It is usually a good indication of their position in the Draft. Bronny’s name in the Green Room attendees doesn’t seem to be added to the list.

The teenager is the most anticipated player to get drafted this year. James Jr. will not be attending the Draft in person after he ignored the Green Room invitation. It isn’t that Bronny won’t be drafted, instead, he did go with the invitation. Prospects like Cam Christie and Harrison Ingram have officially listed their names as Green Room attendees. But when it comes to Bronny, his name will be called at the very end of the second round.

This left Lakers fans believing that James won’t get drafted. The former Trojan declared for the draft earlier this year and has been on the scouts’ list. He also worked out for the Lakers before and his candidature seems solid. Teams like the Nuggets and other franchises who are close to the 55th pick may try to bring him in, but the Lakers are determined to land Bronny.

Rich Paul, Bronny’s agent, will be revealing his plan for James Jr. soon. However, upon hearing the news about Bronny’s availability in the Green Room, fans couldn’t take it, as they sent mixed reactions. Apart from some known names, Bronny is the most highlighted player of this year’s draft.

Lakers fans are anticipating Bronny James’ draft

Earlier there were talks about Bronny being a first-rounder and the Lakers picking him at 17th. However, the front office went for Dalton Knecht, and is now on the run for Bronny. There will be some competition, but the Lakers will be giving their all to introduce the teen to the roster. While Bronny won’t be present in the Green Room, this sends a mixed message to the fans.

This fan believes that James Jr. will be watching the draft while with his family at home.

Whereas one of the Twitteratis believes that Bronny is not getting drafted.

Of course, the teen would’ve attracted the media if he was there in person. This fan hinted at the same, wanting Bronny to stay away from the ‘hatred’.

This Laker fan wants to see the teen with his family once he is drafted.

It will be interesting to see how the Lakers manage to draft James Jr.. This will be a historic moment, as for the first time in history will the fans see a father-son duo.
