The Nuggets’ media day was fun, thanks to “The Joker”. Former teammate Mike Miller’s nickname for Jokic has stuck with him to this day. And his fans accepted it wholeheartedly.

“He comes in and does the same exact routine every single day, the same shots, the same step-backs, the same fadeaways, the same free throw routine. He doesn’t take any shortcuts. He’s here early. Those shots that he hits … he’s not surprised when they go in, and I think that consistency is what everybody wants to take away from him.”
The Nuggets’ coach is also of the same opinion. The two have a great understanding because of all those years of working together. It translates to Jokic’s game as well.
